The Hometown Family Inn

Not the best, not the worst Positive: Good location if you want to be within walking distance to downtown. Hot water and good water pressure. All amenities are provided and well used. Negative: Well worn and feels unsafe. Grass was so high we we welcomed to mice running around in front yard. Beds have plastic on mattresses so you sweat all night. It is not a completely bad place, just know it isn’t real great also.

Worked great for a three generation family of 6 adults, beds enough for all, two showers

Negative: The whole house had a bad smell, everything is very old, and would need a massieve refurbishment. Cheap staff inside.. Bed very comfortable, but 2 bunk bed.....its not very comfortable if only adults go there, 2 bathroom are not enough.

Great place for family/friend vacation Positive: Very nice house for vacation. Full kitchen equipments and spices at the kitchen were nice. Free laundry were also great. We also enjoyed the little hangout room downstairs for watching movies. Negative: The kitchen knives needed to be sharpened.

This is a good place to stay, not too far from airport and the ski resorts (Moose & Skiland) by car. Host also replied my inquiries very fast, the staying/traveling guide also assist our trip. The kitchen & living room have almost everything we need. Amount of beds matched our demand too. There's a space to park car at this place, and it's close to entrance for us to drop off our luggage. Will definately want to stay here again when I go to Fairbanks.
