Great value for the money Positive: the house was beautifully decorated which made it very inviting. Beds are very comfortable and good size. the kitchen was stoked with all basic necessities such oil, salt, spices, coffee and tea. It was a very nice surprise (From our recent experience, owners usually removing all leftovers after the check out.). The location was good: 25 min from the center of Fairbanks and 15 min from the North Pole shopping center and Santa Village. Negative: There was no actual address like street number, so we got a little bit confused looking for the house but found it eventually. It would be nice to have a better direction to the house as it has a rural mailing address (house name instead of street number).

Positive: House was amazing. Had everything we needed.if you are visiting someone at Eielson AFB I highly recommend. Perfect location to Fairbanks as well as Eielson. Great price for what you get. I would definitely stay here again. Negative: There was nothing we didn't like.

Overall, an OK stay for us. Listing was accurate. Online welcome packet very thorough and well done. Location was good. We had older adults in our group who found the stairs steep and difficult. The bunk room is definitely for kids only. Mattresses uncomfortable (too thin) & beds hard to get into for adults. There were a few issues with the property during our stay, including a missing screen and a leak. Unfortunately, the water heater leak remained a constant issue during our stay. We sent messages about it regularly. The management company tried to get it worked on (coordinating with property owner), but despite several visits by maintenance staff and plumbers, it apparently was a bigger issue than could be resolved. Received a night's credit, which we appreciated.

Private, quiet, comfy winter retreat Positive: Quiet area, comfy beds, lots of blankets/pillows, loved the game room (to play cards!), appreciated TVs in the bedroom. Kitchen was huge with most items needed to cook. House stay heated even though it was so cold outside! Negative: We gave feedback on just a few kitchen items needing updating but I'm sure they will take care of it. They were very responsive. The Internet was slowish (6 mbps download/1 mbps upload) but I was on vacation so didn't need a fast internet so appreciated having it at all! It was completely fine to do MOST things. We all have to remember that this is a small town so I imagine tough to get fiber optic or something like that. Enjoy the outdoors folks! Talk to your friends/family! Play games!
