Nice house and property

Spacious, well-equipped, comfortable home in Fairbanks. Positive: This is a spacious four bedroom home in Fairbanks. Two bedrooms are accessed by walking through a third bedroom, so only three of the bedrooms are truly private. The living/dining area is spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. There are laundry facilities in the basement. The home is convenient to major roads in Fairbanks. It was very easy to feel at home in this property. Negative: The steps to the second floor and to the basement seemed non-standard. A bit steep with shallow steps. If you have balance issues, the steps could be tricky. There was a sign on the fridge threatening a $5,000 fine if police were called because of loudness. Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. We are a quiet family, but were intimidated by the heavy-handed sign on the fridge.

Perfect location for our activities, easy on & off highways, close to Farmer's Market - bonus!! Melissa was very responsive when we had questions.

Would stay here again, had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the immediate area felt safe even for our girls trip. Property manager was very responsive (we were given an incorrect code for the door). One thing to note is that one of the "bedrooms" is really a pass through area with a twin bed. Access to two of the rooms (the twin room and the full/double room) is through this twin "room". All rooms are upstairs and the stairs are old (very steep and shallow depth) in case that matters for someone with mobility issues. Again, we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again. Just wanted to note these things as some might find it helpful when booking.

Wonderful for a family! Positive: Fantastic for a family, plenty of space and well equipped. Great location in town with easy access to stores, shops, etc. Negative: We did not understand ahead of time that there would be someone else living underneath us in the basement. Because the laundry facilities seem to be shared, this felt less than ideal. However, we had no issues whatsoever, and having a washer and dryer was crucial!
